I’m an artist and metalworker with a passion for transforming raw materials into expressive, tangible forms. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After many years of inspiration from the vibrant and industrious city of Milwaukee, I hit the road on a cross-country journey across the United States — a trip that would become a defining chapter in my creative life.
That road trip wasn’t just about travel; it was a search for something new — something that would shift my perspective and breathe fresh life into my creative practice. From the industrial textures of the Rust Belt to the expansive desert landscapes of the Southwest, I absorbed the sights, sounds, and stories that now shape my work. The journey deepened my fascination with metal — its strength, flexibility, and enduring presence in both nature and human industry.
Today, my art explores the balance between structure and fluidity, permanence and decay. Whether I’m crafting sculpture, functional objects, or site-specific installations, my process is rooted in intuition, labor, and storytelling — honoring the materials while pushing their limits.
I have created a line of jewelry inspired by botanical forms, specifically using real flowers as the foundation for each piece. Through techniques such as casting and electroforming, I preserve delicate natural elements in metal and resin, capturing their fragility and detail in enduring form. These works serve as wearable reminders of transience and transformation — themes that resonate throughout my broader artistic practice.
